THE PROJECT CONSORTIUM
The project consortium consists of the stakeholders of research, higher education, production and certification sectors. Its members had to solve several unforeseen organisational and professional problems when after four and a half years of work in august 2013 they finally bottled and marketed the first delicious and healthy organic einkorn beer (Alakor Bio Sör). In Hungary the organically bred modern einkorn wheat varieties were placed on the market as a result of the project and for today sufficient experiences have been gained on einkorn wheat concerning large-scale farming, processing, storing and use in beer production.
